Munir Kaulan (Main Sama-Sama 2021) : Spreading Global Awareness Through Sustainable Artworks

Munir Kaulan is an emerging artist base at Melaka who articulates waste products into interesting artworks. His represented forms of art creation has been recognized and acknowledge by art galleries as well as recycling art competitions. What started as an amusement process between experimenting byproduct materials and celebrating early childhood memories, created into vibrant new life objects has brought Munir Kaulan as one of the selected 'Bakat Muda Sezaman (BMS2021)' final contestant.

The strategy of his art project 'Main Sama-Sama (2021)' aims in achieving several 'Sustainable Development Goals (SDG2030)' as introduced by the United Nations such as 'Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG11)' as well as 'Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG12)', specifically through the BMS2021 concept of 'Art on Site', as promoted by BMS2021.

What started as a philosophical idea embracing children's creative minds, has gain support by participants from different age, background, personality, and art preferences around UiTM Lendu, Alor Gajah Melaka. The process of Art Education celebrated on site has been documented as one of GASZI's magazine limited edition issue by G.A.S (Gallery.Art.Shop) UiTM Melaka. Where such art project shall spark and inspire more future academic references related to sustainability.

UiTM Alor Gajah, Melaka is proud to host Munir Kaulan's 'Art on Site' exhibition at G.A.S (Gallery Art Shop). PACAQ is pleased to have him as an active member upon propagating such important message of sustainable development goals through BMS2021 platform for the well-being of Malaysian public.

FORM: CREATIVE INTELLIGENCE VS ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI)

(Figure 1: Illustration between Human CI and AI - Image Source 1) TATE Art Terms defines ‘FORM’ in relation to art as accompanying two meanings: it can refer to the overall form taken by the work; or within a work of art it can refer to element of shape among the various elements that make up a work. IIDEX2023: A 'Gold Award Medal' for PACAQ through (OPEN-INVENTOR 2023 Category)
