This massive fiesta is a project by celebrated sculpture-artist Dr Rosli Zakaria, through series and variations of the become and becoming of Lendu International Art Community, since 2013. A contemporary approach on de-articulating the demarcation between 'Art for Art Sake', and 'Art for Society', towards visions of "Art from/for the Community". A concept of cartography which marries western and eastern oriented methodologies, as well as approaches in Art and Design.

Lendu International Art Community #4 (LIAC#4) is Art Community-Based fiesta which engages as well as enlightens the synergy of creative experience between artist, academicians, and the local communities locally as well as globally. The main objective for this year's LIAC#4; to empower communities and developing sustenance in regards to community art. Uniquely, this current LIAC#4 fiesta will be focusing on empowering the spiritual and economical aspects of the local community, in regards to the post-pandemic covid-19. LIAC#4 is a series which endeavours balance between exclusivity and inclusivity of the creative arts, presented together as building blocks of community engagement and development, through creative process of public art making. The several series of LIAC were; LIAC#1 (Year 2013), LIAC#2 (Year 2014), LIAC#3 (Year 2016), and this year's LIAC#4 (Year 2022).

The programs in regards to LIAC#4 can be divided into two (2) stages, which are the pre-LIAC#4 as well as the peak-LIAC#4 fiesta. Here, the pre-LIAC#4 took place with two (2) series of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) workshops, happening before on August 2022, and September 2022 respectively. Here after, the peak-LIAC#4 is taking place currently 21st, 22nd, 23rd October 2022, in the form of an International Arts and Crafts Expo, with celebrated artists and art groups around the nation and globe from Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia , and Thailand. These participants are art academicians, artist, as well as researchers eagerly present to fulfil their roles in achieving the main success of LIAC#4. In a sense, as to cultivate an ASEAN mid-point intersection platform, to address the newer approach of art and community , contemporarily happening in todays Southeast Asian Art Ecosystem.

Students from the faculty of Art and Design, UiTM Melaka took advantage of this celebrated art fiesta, as an academic Praxis. Where these art and design students ranged from different programs such as Graphic Design (AD111), Industrial Design (AD114), Photography (AD117), as well as Fine Arts (AD118). Engaging towards the Praxis of theory and practice in academic art and design practice, the students took this opportunity to embrace academic eminence and entrepreneurship excellence, utilising the platform of LIAC#4, in regards to the opening of 'Art Markets', by Art and Design student's Associations, led by the Lecturer Munir Kaulan. These Student's Art and Design Associations are; FAME (by department of Fine Arts), GRADIENT (by department of Graphic Design), SIDIPCI (by department of Photography), and MIDEC (by department of Industrial Design). Therefore, these efforts on the praxis of knowledge would surely benefit the entrepreneurial experience of these undergraduate students.

Highlighting the Profile Show by celebrated Naive artist Ismail Baba, taking place at Galeri Seni UiTM Melaka, embraces an art message which is democratised towards every LIAC#4's audience and art lovers. LIAC#4 just like its early predecessors, has been highlighting  the connective aspects of arts and society. Where, this time Naive Art, has been one of the stage of the bigger show. The formalistic visual experience, in regards to ‘Mael’s Naive Art Style’ brings the audience towards a democratise state, one to be appreciate by everyone, from inside-outside the art community. Ismail baba, addresses stylistic visual contents, which are comprehensible, by all generation of age, gender, education, or background. Thus, the vibrant colours of his work of art, takes the audience through the abundant, versions and variations of the artist’s archetypal-reality.

Engaging towards the response of of this year's LIAC#4 fiesta, altogether was a positive reaction in regards towards the synergy development between artist, academicians, and the local communities locally as well as globally. In a political perspective, the collaborations between the public and private art institutional bodies such as the National Visual Art Gallery (NVAG) of Malaysia, represents a positive support by the leading authorities, upon making this fiesta alive, through the inauguration of Ismail Baba's Opening Profile Show by the NVAG Director himself; Mr Ameruddin Ahmad. The SDG's pre-LIAC#4 programs also invites the local community towards creative sustenance available, through process of waste-to-art makings, workshops in regards to making soap and potteries from waste materials, altogether engage as a medium of art, takes its participants on promising socio-economical visions, as know-how skills through the practical actions they share, upon completing the workshops.

Figure 1: "Alegori I: Hati Nyamuk", and "Alegori V: Penamat Angan" at BNM Art Gallery In today’s society 4.0, where we discover ourselves bolstered by the technological advancement of the Internet of Things (IoT), the abbreviation (A.I) for Allegorical Intelligence is undeniably common to be mistaken with ‘A.i’ of Artificial Intelligence. While the latter is the cornerstone for today’s technological era, I find Allegorical Intelligence as simultaneously, as well as substitutable a key-source for today’s contemporary art reference. Representatively, as embodied in the work entitled ‘Alegori 1: Hati Nyamuk (2004)’ by Malaysian celebrated female sculptor Sharmiza Abu Hassan. The work can be translated as “Allegory 1: Mosquito Heart (2004)”. This particular work is viewed as one of the artist’s prominent masterpieces, which encapsulates the spirit of the German term “Gesamtkunstwerk” (total work of art). The term describes works of art which integrates multiple artist...
